South Philly is the section of Philadelphia that is south of South Street.It is home to immigrants such as Irish Americans,Italian Americans,Mexican Americans,and African Americans.It is also home to South Philadelphia Sports Complex.It is the site of Citizens Bank Park(home to the Phillies),Lincoln Financial Field(home to the Eagles),Wachovia Center(home to the Flyers,76ers,Wings,and Soul),and Wachovia Spectrum(will be demolished maybe in September,2009)(is home to Indoor Lacrosse,Arena Football,Ice Hockey,Indoor Soccer,and Basketball).
