The Liberty Bell is one of the most important symbols of the United States.It was rung many times throughout U.S. history and they were in 1774 for the opening of the First Continental Congress,in 1775 after the Battle of Lexington and Concord,in 1804 for Alexander Hamilton's death,in 1824 for Lafayette's return to philadelphia,in 1826 for the death of John Adams and Thomas Jefferson,in 1832 for George Washington's 100th birthday celebration,in 1834 for the death of Lafayette,in 1835 for the death of John Marshall,in 1841 for William Henry Harrison's death,and in 1846 for George Washington's 114th birthday celebration.Today, the Liberty Bell is in the Liberty Bell Center for people to see.
